About Me

I am Shaniqua L' nette Wilderness. I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I attended Thurgood Marshall High School and proceeded to college at Stephen F Austin State University. I then continued my education and received a Masters in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University. Through out my life I have been emerged in entertainment from watching it religiously on T.V. to performing.  I have performed in plays and sung back up with Patti LaBelle. With my performing background you would think I aspire to be a performer. At one point in time I thought it would be pretty cool. Once I graduated and learned there is so much more to music beside being the artist directly, I started to consider other avenues. My dream is to be an A&R for a record label. My knowledge from school and the raw edge i have from over the years could make me great in that position. But that position is so 1999. The industry dynamic has change drastically over the years. That position has become a childhood dream its almost no need for that position. Independent mix tapes are making more money than album sales. I would do ether using my own capital and invest it into the artist of my choice. Now that is still an option.Music is my passion. My talents are not only in that area though. I have a strong marketing background in the corporate sense, as well as a long resume in sales. So if I can work for a production company or marketing company that would be great too. I will say since starting this blog my ideas and prespective has evolved. In my spare time I am exploring avenues that will grant me fulfillment.This blog is a great avenue into my ideas and beliefs. I am that rare unique person who is the jack-of-all-trades. Give me the chance I can make magic.
